Parent Resources

Parents and Carers are central to their child’s development. Kalparrin’s services are focused just as much on the parents, carers and families as they are on the child themselves. Our goal is to offer relevant, needs driven services for parents and carers in areas that will help parents and carers feel capable, informed and resilient.

Our resources extend to social work supports, psychology supports, support and networking groups, information and training workshops, information resources and ongoing guidance and availability of staff from all disciplines at any time.

From time to time our resources will also include practices and procedures that Kalparrin is obliged to follow within the organisation due to its state government licensing as a Limited Hours Type 1 Children’s Service (Licence SE:00015671). Links to these practices and procedures will be added to this section of the website as they arise :-

The Parent Resource list below has been built up by Kalparrin staff as a continually expanding library of some of the most valuable and respected information resources on early childhood intervention available within Australia (and overseas). We hope you will find it useful and welcome any contributions you may wish to bring to our attention that you have found useful for your family and child.
